The Olympia girls soccer team has scored 25 goals in its last three games.
Olympia reached a new season-high in scoring Tuesday night in a 9-1 pummeling at Graham-Kapowsin.
Celeste Wilhelm and Mika Meconi each netted three goals during the victory, while Parker Udo, Clara Rigg and Althea McMurry each secured one goal. Rigg and McMurry were elevated from junior varsity and made an immediate impact against the Eagles.
McMurry recorded two assists, while Udo and Makenzie Bendiksen each had one assist.
“This group just continues to get after it and lean into each other,” Olympia head coach Tamara Liska said. “Each game, we’re taking steps. It’s fun to watch.”
Olympia (5-0-1, 1-0-0 South Puget Sound League) will visit Puyallup (5-0-0, 1-0-0 SPSL) in a Thursday-night blockbuster between two 4A powerhouses.
