For just the second time this season, the Thunderbirds were held to under 50 points yet this one came out on the winning side by upending Foss 43-38 in a non-league game on Wednesday night on the road.
It was a dominant day on the glass for Tumwater’s Luke Overbay and Braeden Konrad. Both led the scoring with 12 points; Overbay grabbed 19 rebounds and Konrad added 11 boards. Julian Balsley and Owen Reamer both notched seven points.
The T-Birds (8-1) will go back to EvCo play on Friday night when they battle Centralia.
