Senior wing Tony Frohlich-Fair of The Evergreen State College has been selected First Team All-Cascade Collegiate Conference after leading the Geoducks and the conference in scoring with 24.8 points per game.
His effort also ranked third in the NAIA. Frohlich-Fair, from Portland, Oregon, graduated from Sentinel High School in Montana and transferred to Evergreen from Bushnell University prior to this season.
“We are very proud and happy for Tony’s accomplishments this year while wearing the Evergreen uniform,” head men’s basketball coach Cameron Swanson said in a release. “He’s a tremendous talent and an even better person. We are excited to see where the basketball journey takes Tony. This is the first time in 15 years we have had a First Team All-CCC player, so we are hoping this means we are moving our program in the right direction.”
In addition to leading the Geoducks and the CCC in scoring, Frohlich-Fair ranked first on the team with 6.0 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 1.4 steals per game. He also led the team with a 49.9% field goal percentage and was second in 3-point shooting at 39.7%.
