TOGETHER! has announced in a news release that it will hold a fundraiser celebrating its fifth anniversary from 5 to 7:30 p.m. March 5, at the Lacey Community Center.
The proceeds from TOGETHER!’s Host Homes 5th Anniversary Fundraiser will support the Host Homes program, a community-based initiative that provides safe, short-term housing and wraparound support for high school students experiencing housing instability in Thurston County.
Magician Taylor Kyle is set to perform at the event. The fundraiser will use interactive magic as a way to bring people together and symbolize what’s possible when a community works together to support students facing housing instability, the news release stated.
"The magic represents what becomes possible when people show up for students who need stability and support,” Kyle said. “We want to create a space where helping others feels magical, and where community members can be part of that change together.”

100% of youth enrolled in Host Homes are also enrolled in school, secured jobs, and received mental and social services, the release stated. In addition, 100% of the Class of 2025 participants are attending college or entering military service. 42 students are currently enrolled, making it one of the most efficient Host Homes programs in Washington state.
TOGETHER! removes barriers by providing accessible, local resources to advance the health, education and overall wellbeing of youth and families in Thurston County since 1989.
