Timberline junior pitcher Nevaeh Haagen earned the top honor the Puget Sound League has to offer Wednesday, taking home the league’s overall MVP award for the 2026 season.
Haagen, a University of Central Arkansas commit, was the PSL Nisqually Division Player of the Year in 2025 as a sophomore and now climbed the ranks to the top player in the entire league.
Timberline junior catcher Kayleese Dorfner was selected as the 2026 Nisqually Division Player of the Year, and Timberline head coach Lynsi Polanco was named Nisqually Division Coach of the Year.
Six of the nine honorees on the Nisqually First Team All-League were locals, including North Thurston catcher Sara Halterman, River Ridge pitcher/infielder Raylie Birklid, North Thurston third baseman Isabella Haagen, North Thurston outfielder Saihdee Trolson, Capital catcher Lola McKeone and Timberline infielder/pitcher Porsha Miller.
Seven of the nine selections for the Nisqually Second Team All-League were also locals. Second-team honorees include River Ridge pitcher Jaylah Sok-Vandergriff, Timberline outfielder Leovi Meno-Meyers, Timberline first baseman Brynnli Mayr, North Thurston pitcher Syriahs Trolson, Timberline outfielder Brookelyn Read, North Thurston shortstop/pitcher Paige Guyer, and Timberline outfielder Sophia Wiggs.
Nine locals earned honorable mentions, as well. Capital’s Lexie Dura, Ashlynn O’Hara, Elizabeth Sloppy and Devyn Zipper were named to the honorable mention list, along with North Thurston’s Alyvia Belton and Abigail McBride, River Ridge’s Emma Liljenberg and Kaylani Karageorge, and Timberline’s Leilani Palacios.
