The hiker found dead in the Rochester area on Jan. 11 has been identified as Jon Bryant, 62, of Centralia.
The Thurston County Coroner’s Office confirmed Friday, Jan. 16, that Bryant died of natural causes.
He was found dead in the 16000 block of Littlerock Road Southwest at approximately 4 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 11.
Thurston County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded and determined that Bryant’s death was the result of a medical emergency that occurred while Bryant was hiking.
