TerraFirma has formally secured its new location of operations in Olympia at 819 78th Ave SW, Tumwater, the company announced earlier this month.
TerraFirma is headquartered in Roseburg, Oregon, and serves the greater Pacific Northwest area between the southern Oregon border to the South Puget Sound and specializes in foundation and crawl space repair, basement waterproofing and concrete leveling.
TerraFirma first opened its doors in 2005 in Roseburg and quickly expanded north through Eugene and Portland. In late 2016, TerraFirma expanded into Washington with a satellite location based out of Lakewood, according to a news release from TerraFirma. That expansion enhanced TerraFirma’s existing capabilities to serve Pacific Northwest homeowners in need of a local and experienced home service contractor, especially with their strong knowledge in local building and contracting regulations as well as unique and specific needs Pacific Northwest homeowners face.
"Homeowners have trusted TerraFirma with their foundations for over 20 years, and this new office located just off of 78th Ave SW is our investment in serving Olympia and the surrounding communities in the way they deserve. That means a local team, a permanent presence, and a commitment that goes beyond any single project. We chose this location deliberately because being part of Olympia means more to us than simply operating near it,” Amanda Jones, vice president of TerraFirma, said in the release. “As a Pacific Northwest-based business, we understand the soil conditions, the climate, and what it truly means to protect a home in this region.”
TerraFirma is comprised of over 175 professionals across the PNW, with 25% of its current workforce located in Washington. TerraFirma is actively hiring for the Olympia area, declared the release. Positions include service technicians, construction laborers, construction foremen, and in-home sales consultants.
“We are hiring locally, putting Olympia residents to work, and building something here for the long haul. TerraFirma is proud to plant roots and build a safe, dry, and stable future alongside this community,” Jones confirmed in the release.
