The Tenino School District is once again accepting nominations for their 2026 Athletics Hall of Fame Class.
Last fall saw the induction of three former Beavers: Jessica Brathovd, Matt Whitmire, and Jerry Striegel.
The trio joined the 2024 class, the school’s inaugural class, which included 1986 State Champion Baseball and Girls’ Track teams, athletes Gordon Harris and Lori Fair, and coaches Hal Williams, Dick Brock, and Gordy Robertson.
“The purpose of Tenino High School Athletic Hall of Fame is to recognize, celebrate and remember those who have brought positive recognition to Tenino High School through their accomplishments in Athletics,” the nomination form says. “As we recognize the positive achievements of the past, we encourage a culture of success and achievement for the future.”
Also on the nomination form is the induction categories and criteria”
All previous nominees will continue to be considered, and all nominees must be 10 or more years removed from High School.
New inductees will be honored during halftime of Tenino’s football game against Rochester on Oct. 9.
