Tenino picked up two singles wins at home on Thursday, but the Beavers fell overall 4-2 to Castle Rock.
Kyla Watson earned a victory in three sets in the second singles match, while Eva Wegleben earned a two-set win in the third singles match.
“Eva worked really hard on looking for good kill shots,” Tenino coach Sam Shea said. “She had been working on them in practice for the last week, so it was cool to see her use that today. Kyla, her match was a really tough match. It was cool to see her keep her head in the game the whole time and get that third set.”
Tenino will head to Hoquiam on Friday for a rescheduled match.
