Tenino fell behind early and never recovered on Monday, falling at home to Elma 12-2 in five innings.
The Eagles got going on offense early, scoring three runs in the first, one in the second, and seven in the third to go up 11-2 after three.
“Elma hits the ball hard,” Tenino coach Chris Johnson said. “They played well.”
Elma tacked on another in the fourth to go up 10, and Tenino couldn’t find a run in the fourth or fifth to extend the game.
The Beavers two runs came in the bottom of the second, when Kylie Gonia drew a bases-loaded walk and Tamara Snodderly hit an RBI single.
They had their chances to add on early, but left the bases loaded in two of the first three innings of the game.
“We just couldn't get ourselves into a rhythm,” Johnson said. “Hopefully we'll get into a rhythm real soon so we can play the way we’re capable of playing.”
Tenino (0-3) will look to snap its skid against Mossyrock on Wednesday.
