Tumwater picked up its third win of the season over Centralia on Wednesday, scoring in all but one inning to earn a 13-5 victory at Fort Borst Park.
The Thunderbirds scored four runs across the first two frames to go up 4-0, and they added five runs in the fourth to go up 9-1. They tacked on four runs over the final three frames.
No one Thunderbird posted more than one hit, but 11 different T-Birds tallied a hit in the win. Luke Overbay was the lone T-Bird to drive in multiple runs, bringing home two, but six others brought home one run each.
Liam Gustafson saw the most time on the hill among the four Tumwater pitchers, and he allowed three hits and a run while striking out five across three innings of work.
Gabe Salazar led the Centralia offense with a double and two RBIs, and he also drew two walks. Hudson Waterfield added two hits and an RBI of his own, and both Jake Johnson and Caden Erickson both chipped in a hit and an RBI.
Tumwater (13-4, 9-2 C2BL) will head to Aberdeen on Friday, while Centralia (2-15, 1-11 2A EvCo) will make the same trip to Aberdeen on Monday.
