Tumwater got back in the win column on Wednesday, cruising to a 10-0 victory over Centralia at Fort Borst Park
The game was originally scheduled to be held in Tumwater, but was moved south due to rain. As a result, the T-Birds were the designated home team.
Tumwater got on the board with three runs in the second, added two in the third, and scored five in the fourth to go up double-digits.
Henry Arthur drilled a two-run triple, Liam Gustafson added two hits and an RBI, Kade Acker and Wyatt Chase both hit RBI doubles, and Jimmy Womach, Konrad Blake, Isaiah Rodriguez, and Jeff Hopton also drove in a run each.
Womach pitched the first three and a half innings, striking out eight while giving up just one hit, Gustafson struck out the two batters he faced, and Baylor Olson pitched a perfect fifth.
Hudson Waterfield collected Centralia’s lone hit of the day, and the Tigers committed six errors in the field.
Centralia (0-4) will host River Ridge on Thursday, while Tumwater (2-2) will head to Woodland on Friday.
