River Ridge pitcher Jaylah Sok-Vandergriff registered a dynamic performance in the circle in a 19-4 rout of Lakes Monday, earning 14 strikeouts in just five innings and giving up just two hits.

She also was one of the anchors of the Hawks offense, finishing 3 for 3 at the plate with two runs batted in and four runs scored. River Ridge tallied at least three runs in all four of its innings, including six in the second and six in the fourth.

Raylie Birklid blasted a two-run home run to right center field in the third inning for her fourth homer of the season. She logged three RBIs on a 2-for-3 day.

River Ridge (6-8, 6-6 Puget Sound League) will host Capital (2-11, 2-9 PSL) Wednesday at the Regional Athletic Complex. The Hawks beat the Cougars 18-4 in their previous meeting on March 30.
