Saint Martin’s women’s golf hosts 2026 Grisham Memorial Shootout

The Saint Martin’s women’s golf team hosted and competed at the 2026 Grisham Memorial Shootout in DuPont from Monday, Sept. 21 through Tuesday, Sept. 22. 

The Saints finished with a team score of 620 (+44) to place 10th out of 12 teams.

Freshman Bri-Ela Nakagawa was the Saints’ top finisher for the second week in a row, placing 10th with a final score of 159 (+5). She shot 74 (+2) in the first round and recorded a 75 (+3) in the second round.

Freshman Kallie Phon posted a score of 164 (+9) to place 19th overall. Phon carded a 76 (+4) in round one and 77 (+5) in round two.



Junior Hailey Blancas placed 28th, shooting 166 (+11) across two rounds. Blancas recorded a 77 (+5) in the first round and a 78 (+6) in round two.

Sophomore Makenna Paxton placed 51st, recording a final score of 174 (+19). She posted an 82 (+10) in round one and an 81 (+9) in round two.

Freshman Lily Peralta, a Rainier graduate, placed 59th, posting a score of 182 (+27). She shot 87 (+15) in round one and 84 (+12) in round two.

Saint Martin’s will head to Hawaii to compete at the Dennis Rose Intercollegiate from Oct. 26 through Oct. 27 and the HPU Sharks Shootout from Oct. 30 through Oct. 31.
