Talk about a one year improvement.

Allyson Ooms was a second team all-league recipient after a sophomore campaign that saw her in the lineup consistently. Now as an all-rotation player, the Mountaineers junior earned all-league MVP honors as voted by the coaches.

Ooms had 15 kills and 14 digs in Rainier’s district quarterfinal win on Saturday in its quest to play for a district title for the first time in school history.

League champion Onalaska had two members on the first team, the same as runner-up Toutle Lake.
