Local residents have the opportunity to own Bottle No. 1 of Olympia Artesian Vodka’s new 1.75-liter bottle through an auction held by Olympia Distilling Co.

A few weeks ago, 16-year-old Aliyah, a student at Winlock High School, was critically injured in a severe automobile accident in Toledo. She suffered a traumatic brain injury along with other serious injuries and continues to fight through a long road to recovery.

While Aliyah has made encouraging progress, she still faces months of rehabilitation, according to a news release from Olympia Distilling Co.

To help support Aliyah and her family, Olympia Distilling Co. is offering a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to own Bottle No. 1 from the first production run of the new 1.75-liter Olympia Artesian Vodka.

The winning bidder will receive:

• Bottle No. 1 of the first production run of Olympia 1.75-liter Vodka

• Framed certificate of authenticity

• Bottle personally signed by Lesa Givens and Ray Watson

• Tour and tasting room experience for up to 10 guests

• Olympia Vodka merchandise package

Bidding is open through 5 p.m. Sunday, July 26.

To comply with Washington state liquor laws, the winning bidder will make two separate payments:

• $50.00 (including all applicable taxes) payable to Olympia Distilling Co. for the commemorative Bottle No. 1 package.

• The remaining balance of the winning bid payable directly to Chantal and Louie Marx to assist with Aliyah’s recovery and related expenses.

Because alcohol shipping laws vary by state, the commemorative package must be picked up at Olympia Distilling Co. in Tumwater, or arrangements must be made that comply with all applicable laws.
