A motorcyclist who was airlifted with serious injuries after he crashed into a ditch in Thurston County on Friday is facing possible DUI-related charges.
Sir Bradley N. Davidson, 33, of Kirkland, was reportedly traveling eastbound on Waddle Creek Road SW near Sherman Valley Road SW just after 4:40 p.m. on Aug. 15 when he reportedly attempted to pass a vehicle on the left, left the roadway and came to rest in a ditch.
Davidson was not wearing a Department of Transportation-compliant helmet at the time of the crash, according to the Washington State Patrol.
He was airlifted to Tacoma General Hospital for medical treatment. No other injuries were reported.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
The Washington State Patrol has determined that drugs or alcohol were a factor in the crash.
