Through five innings on Friday at Fort Borst Park, Centralia trailed Tumwater by four.

Two innings later, Centralia’s Adrianne Lynch drilled a three-run, walk-off home run to center field, capping a 5-4 comeback victory for the Tigers.

A Tumwater error kickstarted the rally, as two runs came across in the bottom of the sixth on the misplay to get Centralia within two heading into the final frame.

Another error put Lydia Lowe on base to start the bottom of the seventh, a Madalynn Rothdeutsch single put the tying run on, and after a fielder’s choice, Lynch cleared the wall on a 3-0 pitch.

The home run was Lynch’s second hit of the game, and she also earned the win in the circle. She allowed six hits and two earned runs across the final five innings, walking two and striking out two in the process.

Tumwater scored its first run in the second on a wild pitch, and Kiera Rich kickstarted a three-run third with a two-run triple. Kendra Schiley went 3 for 3, and five other T-Birds recorded a hit.

Both teams are back in action on Monday, when Centralia (4-2, 1-1 2A EvCo) hosts Black Hills and Tumwater (2-2, 0-2 2A EvCo) welcomes Shelton.
