The Olympia Downtown Alliance is accepting applications for the Spring 2026 cycle of its  LoveOly Microgrants Program through March 12.

Downtown Olympia businesses are encouraged to apply at surveymonkey.com/r/spring2026pmg.

The LoveOly Microgrants program exists to support the creativity and commitment of the small businesses that call Olympia home, a news release from the Olympia Downtown Alliance stated. With just $500, projects that may have sat on the back burner suddenly move forward, and the impact speaks for itself: the program delivers a 3.69x return on investment.

“Rarely do organizations provide direct funding to small businesses, but this program through the Alliance does exactly that,” Ryan DiCrescenzo, owner of Lolli Llama Candy Company and a Fall 2025 LoveOly Microgrants recipient, said. “The project gave me the opportunity to engage with my fellow small business neighbors and customers in a way that was fun, unique, and truly impactful.”

As the Olympia Downtown Alliance reflects on highlights from the Fall 2025 cycle, these projects highlight the success of the program, according to the release. The upcoming Spring 2026 cycle is supported by PCS Structural Solutions and Puget Sound Energy.

  • Endless Sound Cellars enhanced the safety and ambiance of its 222 Market winery space by installing track lighting, elevating the experience for evening guests.
  • Pizzeria La Gitana hosted a Flamenco Night, bringing a complimentary live performance, candlelit tables, and fresh roses together.
  • South Bay BBQ upgraded Trivia Night at The Pig Bar with new equipment, including a prize wheel and microphone.
  • Plum Street YMCA installed a vibrant exterior mural celebrating wellness and diversity.
  • Lolli Llama Candy Company created a Golden Ticket Candy Hunt, encouraging exploration of downtown businesses through a community-centered scavenger hunt.
  • Art Forces Peacemaker Gallery developed a street-level gallery annex in their foyer, expanding public access and inviting greater engagement with its third-floor community space.

Together, these initiatives highlight the innovation and energy of Olympia’s small business community. For more information about the LoveOly Microgrants program and the Spring 2026 cycle, visit loveolydowntown.com/what-we-do.
