Families flocked to Woodland Creek Community Park on Saturday, April 11, for Lacey’s annual Kids Fishing Event.

Designed for families with kids ages 4 to 14, volunteers were on hand to help kids catch their first fish.

Kids got a rod and a reel to take home, as well as a half-hour lesson and another hour to fish in the pond.
