The Capital volleyball team was on the wrong side of a battle between the Cougars, as Central Kitsap swept Capital 25-16, 25-23, 25-10 Tuesday night.
Eliza Mikkelsen led Capital with five kills, and Clara Sandberg added four kills.
“I thought we did a great job working together and communicating,” Capital head coach Maia Nichols said. “We played a good team and hung in there with them in sets one and two, and it was overall a fun game.”
Capital (1-2, 0-2 Puget Sound League) will return home Thursday to face Gig Harbor.
