Two juniors that played significant roles in helping their teams finish first and second in the Evergreen Conference were given the top spots by the league coaches.
Tumwater forward Luke Overbay and Black Hills forward James Morgan were named Co-MVPs in the release of the all-league teams on Thursday afternoon.
Overbay, committed to Michigan for baseball, was a force in the post by grabbing 11 rebounds per game to pair that with nine points per night. His signature moment came with .1 seconds left in a non-league game versus Kelso, getting a reverse layup to go just before the buzzer.
Morgan claims his second straight MVP award in helping the Wolves to another home playoff game. He became the program’s all-time scoring leader in their regular season finale.
