W.F. West picked up an EvCo win on Thursday, defeating Tumwater 4-2.
Elizabeth Mittge and Isabelle Casimiro picked up singles victories at No. 1 and 2, while the duos of Kloey Sparks/Kate Mordick and Mia Leslie/Tinsley Brown earned wins at the second and third doubles.
“It was maybe not the prettiest tennis, as we were a little rusty from spring break, but I am happy about the win,” W.F. West coach Megan Wellander said. “Excited for more practice time and hopefully better weather.”
Tumwater’s Belle Binder earned a win at the third singles spot, and Ashlyn Spencer and Adela Schmiedeberg won the top doubles match.
W.F. West will host Aberdeen on Monday, while Tumwater will head across town to face Black Hills the same afternoon.
