The Association of Washington Business (AWB) has announced a third and final round of legislative endorsements for the 2026 elections.
The AWB Board of Directors voted to endorse candidates in 13 races following a months-long process that included member input and candidate interviews on issues important to Washington employers, according to an AWB news release.

“Washington employers are deeply invested in the state,” AWB President Kris Johnson said in the release. “It’s critically important that we elect leaders who understand the challenges they face and the urgent need to adopt an economic growth agenda. In short, we need legislators who will be champions for the economy.”
Endorsements for senator: Marko Liias (D), District 21; Jesse Salomon (D), District 32; Erika Creydt (R), District 42; Claudia Kauffman (D), District 47.
Endorsements for state representatives: Pos. 1: Mari Leavitt (D), District 28; Melanie Morgan (D), District 29; Janice Zahn (D), District 41; Cobi Clark (L), District 47; Osman Salahuddin (D), District 48; Reedy Berg (R), District 15; Kaylee Kuehn (D), District 24; Lauren Davis (D), District 32; Joe Timmons (D), District 42.
